03/31 is Global backup day. Of course, you should be backing up your data every day. However, in honor of GBD, we want to remind everyone of three critical security considerations relating to backups.
If you are using cloud backup, be sure you have multifactor authentication enabled.
Make sure the backups are encrypted.
Make sure you are backing up the data you think you are backing up.
Verify you can restore data from your backup.
Today is also National Crayon Day.
Crayola crayons were introduced in 1903 with an eight-pack: Black, Brown, Orange, Violet, Blue, Green, Red, and Yellow. This color mix, along with their names, remained unchanged for 45 years. Crayola crayons were inducted into the National Toy Hall of Fame in November 1999.
